Description
We are backpackers ourselves, so we think we know what you want from a WorkAway experience. We offer a clean place to hangout, clean bathrooms, comfy beds, fast wifi, and to be close to a 7/11 and some of the city’s main attractions. We also have dogs and a cat, a large outdoor space, and meet travellers from all around the world, every day of the week.

You will live in Chiang Rai and meet hundreds of travelers from all over the world, as well as build relationships with local Thai business owners.
We have a map of the area on our wall and recommend several different trips for motorbike or car. You will become an expert in the local area and customs.Help
We are a social hostel so we’ll have a lot of fun, but you’ll still be able to get some sleep. We offer a bed, laundry, breakfast, some ingredients and a chance to cook them, as well as the opportunity to live in Chiang Rai while having a good time. This is for for an easy four hours of volunteer work, 5 times a week.
Solo travellers are preferred. This hostel will be a great place for you to meet people and we only offer bunk beds.
Since we are a social hostel, the most important task you will be expected to do is is talk and socialize with guests. We believe that a social atmosphere and an ease of meeting others is WHY people choose to stay in a hostel. So if you are really shy, this might not be the place for you to help unless you want a lot of practice.
We require a minimum of three weeks, but prefer four or more. It’s easy to extend your visa for 30 days, we can show you how! Also, please do not apply more than four weeks before you want to help, we do not take people that early.
Here are some of things you’ll be doing in exchange for this experience. We have paid cleaners so you wont have to do ALL the tasks, but cleaning duties will be given. Mopping, changing beds, sweeping and trash duty will all be involved. General duties like checking in guests and socializing will be expected.
You will also be trained in the most highly regarded of all hostel activities: BEER PONG! Our volunteers will amaze our guests with their game and encourage others to join in the fun.Languages spoken
