Description
Since spring '23, Jan (31), Florentine (32) and Dennis (30) have been living on our beautiful 30 ha property at 1000 meters above sea level in the Slovenian foothills of the Alps. In the next 2 years we have set ourselves the goal of building an eco camp with a seminar house on the property.

With our eco camp we want to create a place where ecology, art and sustainability are combined with vacation and experiential education. Be it a short vacation with friends, the whole family or alone, a weekend to get to know a newly formed team, a visit to an individual workshop or a private event. With exceptional accommodation, organic food and artfully arranged grounds, we want to enable our guests to leave everyday life behind them and enjoy nature. It is important to us that we interact in a friendly, inclusive manner and work with the surrounding communities and people.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Since we are at the beginning of our project, we are constantly faced with new, varied tasks and therefore new challenges.
From timber construction to landscaping to permaculture.
Daily tasks such as caring for animals (chickens, peacocks, dogs and cats) should not be forgotten.
Help
If you would like to be part of our team for a longer period of time, there is the possibility of taking on smaller projects on your own.
There are a lot of projects at the time. Renovate rooms in the house so the rooms become sleeping rooms for guest and friends and helpers. We also want to create a room for sewing and other stuff to create things.
Then we want to built some jurts and treehouses in 2024.
We also want to built a herb spiral to make our own tea and herbs for cooking.
If you are not into craft you can support us with cooking, shopping and social media.
Also a big part of daily life here is to take care of the animal (dog, cat, chickens and peacocks).
Making firewood is also a big part of our work here.

This host offers a language exchange
All of us come from Germany and nobody of us speaks Slovenian. But we want to learn it because we live here and we think its better to speak it to integrate faster and better.
Accommodation
We have everything here on our farm. so you just arrive with your private stuff and some special things you need for yourself.
Every supporter/helper/volunteer will get a safe dry and warm place with electricity and warm water.
we have a big living room to read, play the guitar, listen to music and do stuff with the others.
In spring to autumn we have a big stretch tent. This tent will be outdoor living room and outdoor kitchen. All the rooms are free to use for everyone except. The private room of every individual.

The most beautiful thing is the wild nature that you are surrounded by here.
The mountain is known for the opportunity to go downhill riding, hiking, collecting mushrooms/wild herbs or relaxing.
The next town is 20 minutes away by car.

We have a Wifi connection via satellite its not always the best but the connection can support 5 devices without problems. So there is sure a way to work on the computer.

We have a lot of space for your car, camper or caravan. So this is not a problem.

Normally its not a problem to bring own pets. It depends on the character of the animal.
