Description
We have a private Lodge at the Lake in the Central Okanagan, BC, Canada. Daniela and I with our 2 children Jeremy (22 years) and Siena (12 years).
The Resort contains 23 cabins, 65 campsites, rental boats, kayaks, canoes, paddle boards ect. The resort is family oriented with a playground and lots of other things to do for children and families. We own the resort since 19 years, immigrated from Switzerland 20 years ago.

We are always looking forward meeting people from other parts of the world to exchange experiences and learn about different cultures and traditions. You can experience the Canadian wilderness in a beautiful setting up in the hills around our resort.
Host offers payment in line with the minimum wage

Host has indicated that they will pay at least the minimum hourly wage of their country for each hour worked and that accommodation will also be provided. We are looking for a power couple for long term, from May to mid October that could work in the office (front and back office), cafe, boat rentals, little convenience store, basic resort maintenance ect.
(We pay at least minimum wage but it can be negotiated...)

Accommodation would be in a 5th Wheel Travel trailer 27ft long, with shower, toilet and view on the lake & private fire pit, or in a room above the office with your own kitchen, toilet ect.

All the Rental boats, canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, pedal boats can be used by the volunteers when available. lots of hiking, biking, fishing on and around the Lake.
Enjoying a campfire and just have a great time outdoors.

This is a wonderful place on earth. Even if its so close to town you feel the huge wilderness of Canada there. The resort is run with a lot of energy and passion.
