Heeeello :) We are a Portuguese/Brazilian couple with a baby boy (born in July 2023) living in Madeira. We have a nice apartment in the center of Machico, with an extra bedroom and bathroom, just a few steps from the beach (5 min walk) and right in front of the bus stop. You can reach everything by foot: supermarkets, pharmacy, post office, parks, restaurants etc. We are very easy going, respectful and friendly. As first time parents, we need some help mainly with our little boy and some light house work in exchange for free accommodation and breakfast. The schedule is flexible (4-5h/day with 2 days off) so you can have a chance to explore the island.

Help
We need help with our son: looking after him, feeding, sleeping, changing diapers etc.
Sometimes some housekeeping tasks when we are short on time: mainly laundry, washing the dishes and taking out the trash.

The beach is right in front of us, you can take the bus to reach some hikes or go to Funchal and explore the city.

The Wi-Fi works great in the living room. You can use our big table to set up your computer/laptop/equipment. Keep in mind that you’ll be living with a newborn so some crying is expected ;-)
